Here's a view of the Grand Canal from the Rialto Bridge. To the right is a gondola station, and to the left you can see the Vaporetto just leaving the Vaporetto stop (yellow structures). Vaporettos are waterbuses that are the main form of transportation in Venice (other than walking!).

Saint Mark's Square - the big attraction of Venice. During the day the pigeons outnumber the people! To the right is the tower called the Campanile, and straight ahead is the Basilica San Marco.
