I. INITIAL SETUP
- Click on 'Start' | 'Programs' | 'Eudora' to start Eudora.
- If this is your first time running Eudora Lite, a wizard will pop-up. Please select cancel and close this window.
- On the pull-down menu, click on 'Tools'.
- Select 'Options'.
II. SETTING UP YOUR SATEXAS ACCOUNT
- GETTING STARTED
a. POP ACCOUNT : "username@SATEXAS"
b. REAL NAME : "enter your name full name here"
c. CONNECTION METHOD : "Winsock (Network/PPP/Slip)"
- PERSONAL INFORMATION
a. POP ACCOUNT : filled in for you
b. REAL NAME : filled in for you
c. RETURN ADDRESS : "username@SATEXAS"
d. DIALUP USERNAME : "username"
- HOSTS
a. POP ACCOUNT : filled in for you
b. SMTP : "SATEXAS"
c. PH : "SATEXAS"
d. FINGER : "username@SATEXAS"
- CHECKING MAIL
a. Check for mail every "5" minutes
III. CHECKING MAIL
Remember : Like all other internet mail programs, this mail program will ERROR if it can not reach the SATEXAS mail system because you have not established your internet connection first (Dialed in, etc.)
- This program will automatically check mail for you, as long as you are connected to the internet, every 5 minutes.
- You can force a polling for mail by clicking "File" then "Check Mail" in the pull-down menus.
