What is ISDN?
Integrated Services Digital Network, which is a technology that is offered by the telephone carriers of the world. ISDN combines voice and digital network services in a single medium making it possible to offer customers digital data services as well as voice connections through a single "wire" (copper pair).
Unlike Modems, where a connection speed is negotiated and depends on many variances like Modem Compatability and line quality, ISDN services are a "guarateed" speed; A 64K line will provide a true 64k connection.
